In my twenties, I was an athletic women who enjoyed regular exercise, running and tennis. I had never been as thin as I would have liked, but felt confident with my body and happy with the way I looked. It wasn’t until I began having children in my early thirties that my body began to change drastically. After welcoming triplets, I suddenly had no time to continue my active lifestyle and began a downward spiral into a significant weight gain. As my boys grew up, our lives seemed to become busier and busier with no time to cook or continue my regular exercise routines. We ate fast food for convenience and my cooking consisted mostly of chicken nuggets and mac and cheese thanks to my picky eaters at home. I stopped doing the things I loved, like going out to dinner with friends and volunteering at our church. I was so self conscious of the way I looked and didn’t feel confident enough to get out of the house most days. Although I, and everyone else around me, could see that I was gaining weight, it wasn’t until I went in for my annual check-up that I realized just how serious the problem had become. My physician explained that I had high cholesterol and prediabetes due to my unhealthy lifestyle. He told me that if I did not change my ways, these health complications could be life threatening sooner rather than later. I decided to try phentermine pills after reading dozens of articles about how the medication had helped so many others lose weight. I got my prescription online where I was able to discuss my weight issues with a doctor who specializes in weight loss and phentermine. He gave me a phentermine prescription and let me know that physical activity and healthier eating would also be important to me losing weight and becoming healthy again. I am extremely grateful for phentermine because it has given me my life back. My phentermine prescription gave me a reason to start taking the time for myself to exercise and eat right. I began playing tennis at our local club again and found healthy recipes that I enjoyed cooking and eating. Without phentermine, I would have without a doubt continued down the path to obesity and unhappiness. The lifestyle change and the amount of weight I have lost since beginning my phentermine prescription is all thanks to phentermine. To date, I am down 65 pounds and have been able to keep the weight off for over 4 years and counting. My health has improved and I no longer have high cholesterol, which is incredible.
